Registered Nurse
Our nurses provide individualized care for our residents in our supervised living homes, along with medication management, medication administration, hands-on care to patients, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining accurate records and making physician recommendations.
Duties include
SOC Start of Care
Evaluation
Coordination of care with community health providers
Other duties assigned
On site injections as applicable
Diabetes management
Educate patients on medication and disease management
Qualifications
Active (unrestricted) nursing license in the State of Texas
1 year in the past 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in home health
Valid Drivers’ License with clean DMV search
Ability to pass a federal background checkAbility to pass abuse registry search
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; sit; walk; use hands to finger; handle; reach with arms and hands; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. Must be able to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds in order to assist in life skills. Specific vision abilities may include close vision; color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to outside weather conditions while working with residents. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
