Meet our team — Megan Fredrick, Chief of Operations

Amber Lantern is excited to welcome our new Chief of Operations, Megan Fredrick . As a licensed community mental health therapist and advocate she has over 15 years-experience working with adults with serious mental illness and substance use disorders.

Prior to coming to Texas, Megan served as the administrator for licensed housing facilities in Wisconsin. Most recently, she has served as a clinician and program director, aiding in the development and implementation of several therapeutic interventions over the past decade. In addition, through her position as a Faculty member at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Megan has been involved with the design and oversight of numerous clinical programs, offering a variety of evidence based, state of the art treatment models.

She has a special interest in the housing realm and recently conducted a qualitative research study to assess the housing needs and preferences of individuals in the local community and across Texas.
