Bridgeport Men’s House Upgrades
At Amber Lantern we believe that people living and recovering from serious mental illness deserve a safe, clean and comfortable place to live. We take this vision very seriously and acquired the property that would eventually become the all new Brightwood Supported Living House because of the high standard that it would set for our residents.
After Brightwood’s grand opening we moved our existing residents to the newest home. With the Bridgeport Men’s and Amber Lantern Women’s homes temporarily unoccupied it provided our facilities team with an opportunity to bring same high standard of living as Brightwood to the two original houses.
At our Bridgeport Men’s home this meant refreshed paint and fixtures, thorough maintenance and landscaping upgrades. All new mattresses were brought in, and a digital camera system was installed in common areas to improve security for residents and staff.
When these renovations are complete Amber Lantern will have the capacity to serve more clients than ever before. Stay tuned for more news on the changes that are coming to the Bridgeport and Amber Lantern Houses.
